Interviewy has been a fantastic customer for us and I felt it was important to understand what they do and how they have been using Blanq url shortening platform to grow their business.

I got a chance to interview Konstantin – the founder of the company recently.

1. What does your business do?

We automated the hiring process for front line managers in the restaurant industry, making it easier for them to review candidates, conduct interviews, and hire new employees all from a single platform. 


2. What was it like before you started using Blanq?

We have a massive notification infrastructure to send thousands of SMS messages each month to candidates and employers for purposes such as marketing, status updated, job offer notifications, and employee on-boarding.

We relied on services such as Bitly to help shorten the links in order to safe space in SMS messaging, improve readability, and run click-to-open rate statistics.


3. What problems were you trying to solve with our product?

We provide multiple link formats where job title, location address, and potentially other information is embedded into the link and may change. This is done in order to help SEO and improve organic traffic for candidates that are looking for jobs across the web.

We have found a big bottleneck with Bitly where link changes in our system require us to create a new link on Bitly, thus losing the statistics, coming close to the link limit, and costing us time in management.

We started to look for a friendlier solution in terms of options for changing the links and limits associated with the account. 


4. What made Blanq stand out from other options?

First, it was ease of link management and ability to change the destination of the link without losing statistics or counting toward the account limit. The interface is clean, multiple domain support for a single account is great feature and costs associated to managing many links is much better than other solutions.

We also had a great experience with customer support and ability to provide feedback that quickly led to product improvements such as API access.

5. What have you been able to achieve since using our platform?

With recent addition of API access, we are able to generate and change links on the fly and have virtually zero manual edits. The analytics for clicks, regions, device types, and browser statistics allowed us to analyze the click-to-open rate as well as test different campaigns without having a need to recreate hundreds of links manually. 


6. Was there anything we could have differently?

At this point I do not see anything that could have been done differently. Thank you for making this product, we are happy to be a customer.
